steven stone was not a cool or hip kid in school. he was the quiet kid that sat in the front of the class. he was extremely smart, but only showed such in certain classes. in those classes, everyone knew he was the best and so did he. steven worked hard to keep it that way. he maintained good grades in the classes he wanted to– a long with high honor roll. if you were to even imply that you were better than him in the classoom, he’d end up raising his hand all the time, turning in tests first, etc, to prove that he clearly was better. in the classes he didn’t care for, he hardly answered questions and so on. he’d usually be the last kid to finish the test, never raised his hand, extremely quiet, and so on. he was good in the classes, though never showed it to anyone at all. over the years, he’s cooled down from that. he’s not that flashy in things that he knows he is way better at now. he’s more casual about it, to say. like, just having a normal conversation with little to no hints that he knew more than the other person. unless the topic was geology–most people know he’s good with that, though. if you don’t, he still won’t ’ show off. ’ he may babble about the topic, but not in a ’ im clearly better than you in this ’ way. it’s more of a  ’ im just informing you enthusiastically about this topic ’ way. anyway, back to your late night commercials.
